BIO: Stefan Salvatore was born in Mystic Falls in the 1800’s along with his brother Damon. Their father was a founding family member which meant that the brothers were dragged into the work of ridding the town of vampires. This was an issue of course as the pair were in love with a vampire, Katherine Pierce. During his relationship with Katherine, she compelled him to drink from her which meant on the night of Stefan’s death, her blood brought him back to life. Stefan was going to let himself die until he caused his father to have an accident. His fathers wound bled, his vampire instincts took over and he fed, resulting in the death of his father. After Stefan had turned he convinced Damon to do the same and quickly lost control of himself, becoming what is known as ‘a ripper.’ He finds it incredibly hard to control his thirst for blood and so tries to drink only animal blood. His animal diet however is not completely satisfying and over the years Stefan has often lost control and gone back to drinking human blood. Before she died, Stefan had a best friend named Lexi whom used to help him control himself but as she is no longer around and Stefan is back to his ripper ways, it is harder for Stefan to pull himself out of it. Stefan is an old friend of Klaus and an ex of Rebekah having met the siblings in the 1920’s in one of his ripper periods. However, he now feels that Klaus took everything from him and wants revenge, resulting in him stealing the coffins. Stefan cares deeply for those around him and how they feel. He is kind, caring and compassionate. In his ‘ripper’ periods he is capable of being unemotional and quite ruthless and as far as Klaus goes, he is aiming to be ‘the better villain.’ He claims to be uncaring in these periods but shows signs that this may not be true and he does in fact, still care. He and his brother Damon are still at each others throats over the two Petrova doppelgangers. Upon hearing the news of the original Petrova’s arrival into town Stefan wants to pretend to befriend her but in reality, after hearing the story of Klaus’s history with her, he plans to use her against Klaus instead. His plans are to get close enough to her to harm her.

BIO: Rebekah is the younger sister of Elijah, Finn, Kol and Klaus. During the family’s time in the village which would become Mystic Falls, she befriended Tatia and the two became very close. After years of fighting between the siblings, falling in love with Stefan Salvatore, and being placed in a coffin by Klaus, Rebekah was awakened several months ago and has been struggling to adjust to the present times. A gift that was possibly inherited from her mother, she has an uncanny ability to tell when people are lying. Heartbroken to hear that Stefan had moved on, Rebekah has been kept busy with enrolling in the local high school, and cheerleading, to keep an eye on Tyler. After learning that Klaus had been the one to kill their mother, Rebekah played a part in bringing Mikael and her brother face to face, but was stabbed in the back by Elena before she could see how everything went down. She was recently awoken by Elijah and planned on destroying Klaus with the rest of her siblings before their mother returned, confirming that Klaus never killed Ester in the first place.

Welcome to Mystic Falls..

The town of Mystic Falls appears to be a boring one, but it is in fact a hub for supernatural activity. As the birth place of the Original vampires and once inhabited by werewolves, it is now home to the second doppelganger and the drama that surrounds her presence. Months ago, the curse on Klaus was broken and, by sacrificing Jenna and Jules, the hybrid species was officially created. By draining her birth father’s life force, Elena was revived. However, Damon was bitten by Tyler while trying to stop Klaus, and Stefan was forced to leave town with Klaus in exchange for the blood which, delivered by Katherine, would save his brother’s life.

Since Stefan left town, things have hardly returned to normal. Elena and Damon have been growing closer while Stefan, becoming the Ripper once again, pushes everyone away. Ghosts appeared around town, teasing Jeremy and Matt with past loved ones and ultimately causing the end of Jeremy and Bonnie’s relationship. Caroline and Tyler have had their ups and downs, not only in their love life but also with their parents. Alaric is still grieving Jenna, though he seems to be on the road to moving on with the mysterious Dr. Fell. Finally, the entire Original family is in town, along with a brief appearance by the hybrids, though half of the family is still residing in coffins.. Since using Mikael failed to kill Klaus, Stefan has stolen the coffins to take revenge on Klaus. And in other original news, Tatia, the original Petrova is back in town, bound to create a new love triangle between her, Klaus and Elijah. And to top it all off, Katherine has dared to stick around and cause trouble so long as she can fly under Klaus’ radar.

BIO: Since breaking the curse to become a hybrid, Klaus has been searching for werewolves to transform into his own hybrid army, including Tyler, who is now sired but proving to have difficulty in owning his allegiance. Klaus was hoping to now reclaim certain lost relationships, such as his friendship with Stefan, but after forcing it and feeling betrayed by the other half, that relationship has become a bitter rivalry. Stefan stole the coffins which contain Klaus’ family and is refusing to hand them over, driving Klaus to violence and now a curious plan which includes a strange turn of behavior from him and befriending the Founder’s Council. Planning to make Mystic Falls his semi-permanent home, he is remodeling a house in town which was provided by the Lockwood family, though work has significantly slowed as he recently gave in to Stefan’s demands and sent the majority of his hybrids out of town. He reluctantly pulled the dagger from Rebekah’s chest after retrieving her from Elena, though the relationship is strained now that the truth about his mother’s death has come to light and he continues to keep the dagger close, just in case. And with his family recently undaggered and the return of his mother, Klaus is terrified of the many problems the brothers need to resolve, including the love triangle that is bound to be exposed once more with Tatia when the brothers learn of her return.

BIO: The always honorable Elijah often sacrifices his own happiness for the wellbeing of others, such as when he fell for Tatia Petrova. After undergoing the transformation to become a vampire, Elijah’s sense of honor was heightened considerably, meaning that if he gives you his word, it is a guarantee. However, he does not tolerate betrayals. Led to believe that Klaus had buried the rest of their family at sea, Elijah sought to kill his brother at his most vulnerable, but ultimately failed as Klaus offered to bring him to their family’s true whereabouts. Tricked by his brother’s clever wording, Elijah has been traveling inside a coffin with the rest of his family for the last few months, until recently when Stefan stole the coffins. Once Klaus learned of their location, Damon removed the dagger from Elijah as a safety, though he was able to move the three other coffins, keeping them successfully hidden. However, Damon’s act left Klaus with more trouble on his hands in the form of a now revived Elijah. Aside from dealing with his brother’s betrayal and reuniting his family, Elijah will also soon discover that his first love, Tatia, is in town as a vampire and he might not be so willing to share her with Klaus this time, especially since his brother betrayed him. Unlike his brother, Elijah seems to value human life, but especially that of Katherine and Elena as they remind him so of the love he lost in Tatia. He has been invited into the Lockwood mansion and holds the favor of Carol Lockwood. Elijah could not trust Klaus a second time to return their family and so, removed the daggers of Rebekah, Kol and Finn.
